2022 Online EMI training courses (OPEN MOOCs)

To help our teachers enhance their EMI teaching abilities, the EMI Professional Development (PD) Program is established in 2021.
The program includes “Lectures/ Workshops”, “Teacher community”, and “EMI classroom observation and mentoring”.
With regard to the arrangement of EMI training lectures and workshops, to support teachers with more choices of courses, we provide (1) in-person courses given by invited experts or specialists, and (2) international online courses for teachers to choose upon preference.

Starting from this semester (111-1), we integrate the online course “OPEN MOOCs-English as a Medium of Instruction” into the Entry-level course.
The whole course will last 6 weeks, with one orientation module and 5-week course, more information can be found at https://www.openenglishprograms.org/MOOC [English as a Medium of Instruction (Facilitated)] and the attached files.

Teachers must register to be successfully admitted into the course and enter classes.
After finishing the course, teachers will receive a digital badge and certificate on the platform. Please upload the certificate to https://reurl.cc/rR4VYN before 17:00 on 12/9 (Fri). The Office of Academic Affairs will manage the records after then.
