International Insights: EMI Training and Overseas Case Studies

To enhance teaching capacities and provide advanced training, NSYSU held a summer program in Aug. 2023. We selected 19 teachers from 10 partner universities to participate in a 2-week Upskilling Overseas Training Program in Aug. 2023. The program included classroom observations of ASU educators, interactive workshops, and microteaching sessions. Upon their return to Taiwan, a presentation event will showcase their experience and insights.

Furthermore, in alignment with the “NSYSU Implementation Guidelines for the Selection of Teachers for Stay Abroad to Teach or Conduct Research”, NSYSU has sponsored two NSYSU teachers to attend the Global Colloquium on Participant-Centered Learning, organized by Harvard Business School. The overseas program was designed to enhance their academic instructional skills and professional expertise.
